MEXICO LINDO Y QUERIDO NEWS /Mexico Lindo y Querido News is a newspaper that has been edited in the great city of New York since February 2004. With a new style of dynamic graphical journalism, it is aimed at the progressive Mexican community in the Northeastern coast. As new medium of modern communications both objective and independent, we have achieved nine years in circulation. Our success derives from our staff of first-class journalists both in the United States and Mexico that unite for our publication. Our unique difference is the personalized dedication we offer in covering the many events and activities occurring in the ever-growing Mexican community MLQ News began as a combined effort between Edilberto Alvarado, 31 years of experience in journalism, and Carmela Castillo, General Manager and experienced administrator, along with a select staff. They began editing and publishing Mexico Lindo y Querido News bi-monthly in February 2004. The newspaper gradually expanded by reaching the main cities of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. In doing so, the Mexican community from different locations became linked through coverage of sports, entertainment, and cultural, social and political events. Originally, MLQ News was published as a 16-page free bi-monthly issue. Presently, along with its supplement “Goles and Show,” a 32 to 40-page free weekly issue is in circulation. Our goal for 2014 is to increase our circulation in the 40 main cities of the four states we circulate and to add Delaware to our roster. By May 2014, we hope to reach the Mexican community with a free single weekly publication and increase to 50,000 issues in circulation. email: mexicolindoyqueridonews@gmailcom
